— On Sunday, the Electoral Commission officially recognised the Gaia Movement as a political party, paving the way for a new environmentalist movement to take on the establishment parties in government and opposition.
The move also comes as a victory for Britain's Pagan diaspora, who have long lacked representation in politics on account of traditionally being considered outcasts, and having their religion suppressed for thousands of years.
Movement member Amber Anderson, a former Conservative MP who recently made the switch, had this to say on the topic: I'm positively chuffed that the Gaia Movement is now an official party, as it will now enable us to get the legislation through parliament that we so desperately need to protect our environment.
