			θραύουσ’ αἰγιαλοῖσι πέτρῃσί τε κύματα μακρά,
			εὐδίοις ἁπαλοῖσι γαληνιόωσα δρόμοισι,
			νηυσὶν ἀγαλλομένη, θηροτρόφος, ὑγροκέλευθε,
			μῆτερ μὲν Κύπριδος, μῆτερ νεφέων ἐρεβεννῶν,
			καὶ πάσης πηγῆς νυμφῶν νασμοῖσι βρυούσης·
			κλῦθί μευ, ὦ πολύσεμνε, καὶ εὐμενέουσ’ ἐπαρήγοις,
			εὐθυδρόμοις οὖρον νηυσὶν πέμπουσα, μάκαιρα.
